Gitchigami Hour: Live
Wednesday 18 February 2009, Bayfield Library
Coffee & Cookies 6:15 – Show 6:30pm
On the air since 2004, the Gitchigami Hour is a weekly poetry, music, news and commentary show over WRZC (92.3FM) of Red Cliff, Wisconsin. Red Cliff and Bayfield residents are welcomed to pop in and join the eclectic array of commentary. Spontaneity is sought and generally part of every show. Regular co-hosts are Ted Gephart, Jeff Copenhagen, Jack Beagan, Frank Montano, and Howard Paap. Rainer Einsman and Michael Charette are welcomed whenever able to get to the station. A script is written by Paap almost every week and sometimes is actually followed. A weekly highlight is the music and stories provided by Frank Montano. This is old-time radio with a contemporary twist.
